ABS backpack The Avalanche Airbag
The ABS® Vario line is the patented best-practice solution for the individual demands of freeriders, ski tourers and mountain guides. The twin system consists of the ABS® Base Unit with integrated ABS® TwinBag system and the Zip-Ons with packed volumes of 15, 18, 25 and 40 liters. Whatever your plans are – whether short, single- or multi-day tours, you are always reliably protected with the right backpack system.
Flexibility for freeriders. Base unit specifically designed to meet the needs of freeriders with proven ABS TwinBag system: compact, narrow, light. The Powder Zip-Ons with 5 or 15 l can easily be attached by means of a zip.
The ABS® activation unit (cartridge and handle) is only required for the activation of the ABS® TwinBag. You have the choice between a carbon and steel cartridge. But regardless of what activation unit you decide on, refilling the cartridge is cheap and the activation handle can easily be replaced in retail shops. ABS® will, of course, do the actual refilling and renew the warranty.
The Summer Base Unit without ABS® TwinBag system allows the ABS packs to be used for mountain sport activities in the summer.
There are also other, well-known companies that rely on ABS and have included backpacks in their product range that can be zipped to the Base Unit with ABS® TwinBag system.
