MISSIONS: STATEMENT I'm a passionate freerider and ski mountaineer and have been using ABS for several years. In February 2010, a friend of mine and I got caught in an avalanche. I was equipped with ABS, she was not. When the avalanche came to a halt, I was buried up to my chest while she was buried 1.5 meters under the snow mass. Fortunately, I was able to rescue her thanks to my emergency avalanche equipment. Without my ABS backpack, we would probably both be dead. Following this incident, I contacted ABS and decided to leave my job at a consulting firm to work for ABS, thus turning my hobby into my career. |
