SERVICE
MAINTENANCE
Your ABS avalanche airbag is almost maintenance-free provided that you regularly check your equipment while adhering to a few rules. During an avalanche the ABS system is subjected to very high loads. We therefore recommend that, in addition to your own checks, you have the system inspected by your local Service Center. Also, please report any avalanche accident to the competent avalanche institute in your area. Here you can download the questionnaire for avalanche accidents and learn what you should pay attention to when using your ABS system.
WARRANTY CARD
You've just bought an ABS avalanche airbag? Here you can extend your warranty. Perform a test activation to familiarize yourself with the system and ensure you react properly when in doubt. The instructions can be found here. After a successful test activation, all you need to do is fill in a short form and your warranty will be extended from 2 to 4 years.
WINTER CHECK
At the beginning of the season, you should always perform a test activation of your ABS TwinBag system – perform the winter check to (re)familiarize yourself with your ABS TwinBag. You can activate the system either at home, outside or at your dealer's. The dealer will give you expert advice and, for a small fee, will replace the tested activation unit with a new one. More details can be found here.
RENTAL LOCATIONS
You do not already own an ABS TwinBag but would like to test it for a few days? No problem, here you can find out all the relevant information about rental locations, fees and rental times.
ABS IN PLANES
Of course you can also take your ABS avalanche airbag on the plane. However, there are a few important rules you must follow. In its handbook, IATA has laid down some rules that are available for download in several languages. Here we have put together some additional helpful information on taking your airbag on the plane and what preparations you should make.
